PodPosting has no account or server-side project storage. Your privacy choices are managed on your device.

File Access On Mac
PodPosting can use only the files and export locations you select through macOS open and save panels. To stop using a source, remove or replace it in the project, delete the project, or move the original file. You can review app permissions in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Speech Recognition
On-device caption recognition is preferred. Cloud-assisted recognition is optional and can be disabled in PodPosting Settings. You can also change the system permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Speech Recognition. Importing VTT or SRT files does not require speech recognition.
Photos On iPhone And iPad
You can change Photos access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → PodPosting. Removing permission prevents future saves but does not delete videos already saved to your library.
Delete Local Data
Delete a Mac project from the project sidebar. Use the storage cleanup option in PodPosting Settings to remove unused copied media. Delete exported files from the folder where you saved them. On iPhone or iPad, delete projects inside the app and remove saved exports from Photos. Uninstalling the app removes its sandboxed data according to the operating system, but does not remove exports stored elsewhere.
